Yesterday was one of those days where all of the little things get you down in the dumps- even though they wouldn't normally matter any other day! It began with Ammon telling me that he had to stay after work for another hour because of a meeting. You see, we ride to school and work together, so he was my ride home. His having to stay after an hour meant my having to stay after an hour. It was such a disappointment because I was looking forward to being at home with my puppy and taking a nap. Then my brain was on the fritz because I have been in a constant stream of studying since I started school again. To top it all off, the friggin BYU bookstore wouldn't accept my American Heritage book. The bitchy lady said, "I've got some bad news and good news for you. The bad news is that we've already filled our quota for this book. The good news is that you can try to privately sell it to someone else for fall semester." Whore. They had a candy bucket at the end of the counter with a "Please take one" sign. I took two because they didn't take my book. The cherry on top came when McDonalds gave me 9 chicken nuggets instead of 10. Ammon had to calm me down as I wailed, "But the box says 10!" Running was a treat because old women kept passing me. I'm honestly so out of shape since I got married. That's all gonna change. Today's looking up though! I FINISHED MY FINAL EXAMS!!!!! And I'm really betting on another 4.0 this semester. Ammon's going to take me to Macaroni Grill to celebrate (he doesn't feel like any more Chinese- I don't get why). Then it's two and a half weeks of reading whatever I want, partying, and staying up somewhat late!
