Reading, Writing, 'Rithmatic...Too Much Homework Makes Me Sick!

This semester, instead of taking an actual university course, I decided to take an independent study course. The prices, timing, and flexibility all seemed so much better, and it still is, but now I'm left to the horrible task of discipline. I've always been a procrastinator, but now I'm being tried beyond anything I've had before! According to BYU, I have a calender year to complete the course, but I actually need to complete it by early November if I want to graduate in December. Furthermore, I set the goal to complete it by September so I could enjoy my easy class load in the Fall. Yuck! I am so sick of reading and disciplining myself to do homework when I just want to swim, nap, read Harry Potter (I'm rereading the series), or play with my dogs. Now my family is coming up next week for 2 weeks, and I'm sure I won't want to do any homework then either! I only have a month and a half to make my goal, so I'm having to reward myself every few pages I read or each lesson I complete. This is truly one of the most grown-up, responsible things I've had to do, and all I want to do is play! Growing up is hard business (kinda scary that I'm having a child soon). Wish me luck!
