My poor poor rat of a dog. Lately he's been taking to peeing all over the carpet, the bed, and even me. Ammon and I were at a loss to explain why our potty-trained dog suddenly took to letting his urges run wild. Yesterday we finally took him to the vet, and it turns out he has a urinary tract infection. Oh baby, Mommy's so sorry! I ache when I think about all the times I disciplined him for accidents that he really couldn't help. He's been so scared of the vet's office since he was neutered, and my husband said he just shook and shook the whole time. When the vet was finished examining him, she took him in the back to get a urine sample. Apparently the method our vet uses is a catheder. Oh that makes me hurt for him! Well she went to approach him with the catheder, and he got so scared that he peed all over the table. They just gathered that up as the sample. Isn't he just the
cutest??? He's pretty smart too. All they had to do was ask for a sample, and he would have given it to them. Oh I love him!
Also, as further evidence of his sh

eer adorableness, Ammon made Evan's Halloween costume.
Yes, he's a monk complete with a hood that actually covers his tiny head, and a rosary. We were going to make a bald cap for him, but it's just too much work. Maybe next year. If we don't decide to make a KKK outfit.
Finally, I decided on Evan's middle name. It's Albert. No, not ALberttt. You pronounce it with a French tongue. Alberr. Like the Count of Monte Crisco. I think it is infinitely more regal and austere that way.
